We encourage healthy eating and the meals prepared by our school catering services have been selected to provide a nutritionally balanced diet.
All of our children in KS1 (Reception, Year 1 and 2) are entitled to receive a Universal Free School Meal. KS2 children (Years 3-6) can order a hot meal, priced at £2.75 per day. Meals are ordered on a daily basis during morning registration.
Families with children in full time education at any school maintained by the Leicestershire County Council, may qualify for free school meals, providing they meet certain criteria and are in receipt of the benefits on the form.
To ensure that all Meat, Fish and Egg-free or Vegan diets are dealt with appropriately, our School Catering Services work closely with a dietician to compile a personalised menu for your child. This will remain as close to the standard menu as possible.
