Courage Class is a Lower Key Stage Two class of mixed age children from Years 3 and 4.
The children follow a dedicated programme of study for their age group but also have the benefit of learning together in subjects such as PE, History and Geography etc where children can share their knowledge and skills together. This is a busy class who have lots of learning opportunities to build their knowledge and skills and also enjoy being part of the schools Faith group, School Council and Library team.
The reading and writing curriculum is based around a variety of books which the children enjoy reading and love sharing their ideas especially in role play.
The children in year 4 are prepared for the Multiplication Times Tables check and enjoy all the activities (including Times Tables Rockstars) that make learning fun around all the different aspects of mathematics.
The children love learning and their opportunity to shine.
